On September 29-30, Skolkovo hosted the Ecumene 2021 Congress: Financing Sustainable Development in the Context of Climate Change. Experts discussed the climate agenda, the new economic model and ways to manage financial risks arising against the backdrop of the global trend to abandon dirty energy sources.

On September 23, a joint meeting of the RF CCI Committee on Nature Management and Ecology, the Moscow CCI Committee on Ecology and Natural Resource Management, the Center for Green Economy and Climate of the VEB.RF Institute was held, within which the role and capabilities of the business community, associations of entrepreneurs in the formation and further implementation of the low-carbon agenda for Russia’s economic development.
- II Russian Intersectoral Summit "Industrial Ecology" was held in Moscow
On September 17, the II Russian Intersectoral Industrial Ecology Summit was held in Moscow. The event was organized by ENSO company with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Water Resources, the Project Office of the federal project „Clean Air“, the Center for Environmental Industrial Policy, and the Centre for International Industrial Cooperation UNIDO in the Russian Federation.
- LKDF Forum 2021
The LKDF Forum 2021 will convene virtually on 22 September under the theme Digital Skills for an Inclusive Future, followed by a virtual hackathon on 23-24 September to build on the 2020 forum’s edition and compete to create the best green skills solution. The first day of the event will be open to the wider public, whereas the remaining days will be open only to selected applicants of the hackathon.
- The seventy-sixth session of the United Nations General Assembly
The seventy-sixth session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 76) will open on 14 September 2021 at the United Nations headquarters in New York under the theme: „Building resilience through hope — to recover from COVID-19, rebuild sustainably, respond to the needs of the planet, respect the rights of people, and revitalise the United Nations“. The General Debate will take place from 21 September through 27 September 2021.

Small propane (R290) split air conditioners from Chinese appliance giant Midea – the only room AC models to earn Germany’s highly demanding “Blue Angel” ecolabel – are now available on the European market. The first container of the All Easy Series R290 units has arrived at Midea’s German headquarters at Eschborn, near Frankfurt.
