UNIDO announces the launch of the international UNIDO-WTCA Blue Economy Global Call 2026, dedicated to innovative solutions in the field of the sustainable blue economy. The competition is organized by UNIDO in cooperation with the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) and aims to identify scalable technologies and projects that contribute to sustainable industrial development and the preservation of marine ecosystems.

On 21–22 April, the UNECE Regional Forum on Sustainable Development 2026 took place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. Organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the Forum served as a key regional platform to review progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to foster joint solutions for advancing the 2030 Agenda.
