UNIDO Centre took part in the main industrial exhibition of Russia "Innoprom 2024"

From July 8 to 11, the annual international industrial exhibition Innoprom 2024 was held in Yekaterinburg, which was visited by 47 thousand people. The event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the government of the Sverdlovsk region. The theme of the exhibition this year was „Technology partnership: shaping the image of the future“.
The exhibition was visited by four prime ministers: Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan — Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov and Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda. Representatives of 60 countries also came to Innoprom 2024. Among them are Austria, Algeria, Bahrain, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, India, China, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Turkey, Sri Lanka and others.
The exhibition’s business program included more than 100 events on topics such as: industrial digitalization, production automation, industrial investment, cybersecurity. The traditional agenda was enhanced by the most pressing global topics: energy efficiency, engineering, artificial intelligence, industrial parks.
The sessions that aroused great interest in the UNIDO Center and in which Head Igor Kozhin took part were: „Low-carbon market in Russia: challenges, proposals, growth prospects“, „CIS. International cooperation: production and sales. New solutions“, „Digital acceleration of industry: robotics, AI, unmanned production“. The most important issues related to the latest solutions, implementation practices and their own perspectives on the accelerated implementation of high technologies, increasing labor productivity and efficiency of industrial enterprises were discussed within the framework of these sessions.
The total area of the exhibition was 50 thousand square meters. In four pavilions of Innoprom, 900 companies and organizations from Russia and other countries of the world presented their innovative products. Companies from various industries took part in the exhibition, including mechanical engineering, energy and metallurgy, industrial automation and IT, pharmaceutical and medical complexes and others.
