Sber and UNIDO launch an international platform for sharing AI cases in BRICS+ countries and their partners – AI success hub
November 21, 2025

From November 19 to 21, the anniversary international conference „AI Journey 2025“ was held in Moscow, organized by Sber with the participation of the Artificial Intelligence Alliance. The anniversary event brought together leading experts, entrepreneurs, and researchers from Russia, China, India, Serbia, Brazil, and other countries to discuss key trends and challenges in artificial intelligence.
This year conference focused on the practical application of generative AI and case studies demonstrating to businesses and society the potential of technology to enhance human capabilities.
On November 20, the conference hosted a strategic session dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence in the BRICS countries. The event was attended by Alexander Vedyakhin, First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank; Igor Kozhin, Head of the UNIDO Center in Russia; Yanjing Liu, Secretary of the Communist Party of China Committee of the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Research Institute; Martin Kohlhauser, Managing Partner of the ChackVC fund and others.
The experts discussed achievements and challenges in the field of AI, as well as mechanisms for practical cooperation. They raised issues of human adaptation to a high-tech world, maintaining humanity, motivation, and meaning in life in an environment where technology is solving many problems.

One of the key events of the session was the launch of an international platform for sharing AI cases in BRICS+ countries (https://successhub.aianet.org/), as announced by Igor Kozhin, Head of the UNIDO Center. He also noted that UNIDO welcomes the creation of this platform and is pleased to make a practical contribution.
„We offer industrial solutions tested in projects and universities around the world. These aren’t just theories, but technologies that have proven their effectiveness: from the automation of production lines to the use of machine learning in agriculture and industrial monitoring.“ He also noted that this platform is important for several reasons: „First, it allows us to compare successful solutions and adapt them to specific conditions. Second, it lowers the information barrier for small and medium-sized businesses and tech companies, which are not always aware of modern technologies and best practices. Finally, the initiative promotes the dissemination of successful cases: India’s experience can inspire companies in Russia or Brazil to seek similar solutions.“
In creating the AI hub, the alliances relied on three key areas of UNIDO’s work:
- Normative and intellectual leadership. UNIDO is participating in the development of the UN Global Digital Compact and helps countries formulate practical, implementable strategies in the field of artificial intelligence.
- International platforms such as AIM Global (https://aim.unido.org/) and the BRICS Industrial Competence Center (https://bcic-brics.org/).
- Practical project implementation. In over 700 UNIDO projects, digital solutions are modernizing production, increasing productivity, reducing costs, and expanding markets.
Today, with the first case studies already uploaded to the platform, Russian and international technology leaders are invited to share their solutions. Small and medium-sized businesses are invited to use the platform as a reference for practical approaches that can be implemented tomorrow.
The new international platform for sharing AI cases in BRICS+ countries is a step toward making the technologies of the future accessible today.
