Mr. Igor Kozhin has been appointed as the new Head of the UNIDO Centre for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation.

Mr. Igor Kozhin will lead and coordinate the work of the UNIDO Centre, ensuring interaction with Russian and international partners to implement UNIDO programmes and projects. The new Head of the UNIDO Centre will be responsible for cooperation with Federal Ministries and Agencies, as well as interested structures and organizations of the industrial and economic bloc. He will manage Centre’s activities on investment and technology promotion within the network of UNIDO ITPOs and coordinate implementation of sustainable industrial development projects in Russia and other countries.

Appointment of Mr. Igor Kozhin for the position of the new Head of the UNIDO Centre in Russia was approved by the Director General of UNIDO, Mr. Gerd Müller, with an official date assuming office on September 11, 2023.
