The General Meeting of FBA EAC members was held

On August 10, 2022, the General Meeting of the Association members was held at the headquarters of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC) in Moscow. The subject of discussion was the election of the President of the FBA EAC, the rotation in the membership of the Supervisory Board and the Board of the Association, as well as the issues of opening a network of regional FBA EAC Bureaus.
The Meeting was attended by 62 heads of companies representing 46 countries of the world, out of 77 registered in the Register of FBA EAC members.
Alexander Kotlyarsky, the First Vice-President of the FBA EAC, in his opening remarks greeted the members of the Association and the guests of the Meeting and presented the Diploma of membership to the new members of the FBA EAC. Members of the Association congratulated Anatoly Kazakov, Member of the FBA EAC Business Council, Advisor to the Office of the Chairman of the Executive Committee — CIS Executive Secretary, Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the CIS Financial and Banking Council, and Samvel Chzmachyan, Head of the Representative Office of FBA EAC in Armenia, on their 70th anniversaries.
The FBA EAC membership diploma was presented by the Association’s management to the SLC-Rus Corporation. Yves Pozzo Di Borgo, Member of the FBA EAC Supervisory Board, Honorary Chairman of the Friendship Group with Central Asia in the French Senate addressed the participants of the Meeting with a welcoming speech.
The first issue of the Agenda was devoted to the election of the President of the FBA EAC. Based on the voting results, Li Shobin, the founder and head of the SLC-Rus Corporation, was unanimously elected President of the Association.
Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Member of the Board (Minister) in charge of Economics and Financial Policy of the EEC, became the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
As a result of the rotation, Anatoly Tkachuk, President of the Russian Titanium Resources Group, became a member of the FBA EAC Board.
The project of opening a network of FBA EAC Regional Bureaus was presented by FBA EAC General Director Oleg Berezovoy. As a result of a comprehensive discussion, the Meeting decided to entrust the FBA EAC Administration with the development and implementation of this project.
In conclusion, the Acting President of FBA EAC, Alexander Kotlyarsky, warmly thanked the participants of the Extraordinary General Meeting and expressed confidence that the decisions taken at the Meeting would become a new milestone in the history of FBA EAC.
